Joyce Ellis Marshburn passed away Monday, June 6, 2016 at the age of 97. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00am Thursday in the Chapel of McLaurin Funeral Home with Dr. Ray Carr officiating; burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park in Raleigh. She is survived by her son; Allan E. Marshburn, Jr., grandchildren; Lisa Edgeworth, Julie Strickland, David Marshburn and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Allan Marshburn, Sr. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10:00-11:00 am on Thursday at the funeral home.
