Joyce Anne Rudd, 72, passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2015. A native of Ashwood, SC, Joyce was born June 5, 1943 to the late William Duncan and Nellie Mae Wiggs Bailey. Joyce loved her family very much and was especially fond of her grand and great grandchildren. She loved spending time at the beach and whenever she could get out of the house, she would try to stop at Walmart. If she couldn’t, however, she was a very good online shopper too. Visitation will be held Monday, August 3, 2015, from 10-11am at McLaurin Funeral Home, 12830 US HWY 70 Business West, Clayton, NC 27520. A graveside service will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park. She is survived by her daughter, Kim Stacy and husband, Jeff; son, Roy Rudd, Jr. and wife, Barbara; grandchildren, Kellee Stacy, Jeremy Stacy, Bailey Stacy, Cody Stacy, and Alexis Rudd; as well as 6 great grandchildren..
