A celebration of Kali’s life will be held at Chapel by the Sea in Emerald Isle NC on Saturday November 11 at 2:30 pm. The family requests that you wear only bright happy colors......no black.
She was born on January 27, 2006 in Chapel Hill, North Carolina to Scott Frank Hwang and Mallory Lynn Hwang.
Kali was a junior at Smithfield-Selma High School and enjoyed technology, food, Christian music and God. She talked to everyone about her love for Jesus. Kali wrote over 200 cards for the nursing homes and shoe boxes for Christmas every year to encourage others and share her love.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her three siblings, Gino, Franklin and Sooni; grandparents, MiChin Moore, Bruce and Toni Naro Hedreen and Charles and Missie Pagel; aunts and uncles, Courtney Naro, Harley Pagel and John Moore; cousins, Aiyana and Janyiah; and her beloved church family.
