Kay is survived by her husband, John T. Honeycutt; sister, Brenda Harper Newport and husband, Bill, of Clayton; as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Dorothy Sue, Betty, Patsy, and Ann.
Her family would like to say a special thank you to the wonderful and loving caregivers at the White Oak Cancer Center as well as the staff at Transitions Lifecare.
