Larry Wayne Carroll Sr.

Larry Wayne Carroll the son of the late Homer and Beulah Winters Carroll passed away peacefully Monday, August 8, 2016 at the age of 73 surrounded by his loving family. The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 on Friday in the Chapel of McLaurin Funeral Home with Rev. Luke Long officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6-9 pm at the funeral home. Mr. Carroll served as an LCpl with the USMC until his discharge in 1963. He is survived by his wife; Linda Carroll, sons; Larry W. Carroll, Jr. and his wife, Annette of Clayton, Douglas William Carroll and his wife, Ellen of Clayton, daughter; Misty Carroll Byrd and her husband, Kevin of Clayton, stepsons; Staff Sergeant James David Lesher and his wife Penny of Charleston, W. VA, Kevin Ray Lesher and his wife April of Beckley W. VA, sister; Eunice Runyon of Logan, W. VA, sister-in-law; Jan Carroll of Westerville, OH, eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Carroll.
