Larry Burnell Strevig, age 84, passed away on Thursday, October 15, 2026, surrounded by his family. Born July 3, 1942, in Hanover, PA, Larry was the son of the late Lester and Loretta Straley Strevig. He graduated from Ventura College in Ventura California with an associate’s degree in arts.
Larry worked in restaurant and property management and was an avid golfer and woodworker. He also enjoyed working with stained glass, cooking and entertaining friends and was an active leader and supporter of the Clayton and Johnston County Arts Councils, and the Woman’s Club of Clayton.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Linda Z. Strevig and a brother, Lynn Strevig.
