Rosa, so sorry to hear about Ray. I am so glad Faye and I went to visit you all that day. Knowing you and Ray and your whole family all these years has brought back a lot of memories especially when Mama and I lived on the farm when I was younger. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. May God give you peace and comfort through this difficult time. Love to all.

I grew up just down the street from the Johnsons. I'll never forget, when we were young, my brother, Brandon, and I would run behind Mr. Ray's tractor after he would harvest a crop. We would gather the tobacco leaves that fell off and use them like they were our wings and feathers and when we heard Mr. Ray's tractor coming back by, we would peck around in the front yard like we were chickens... just to get him to crack a smile! ....and it worked every time! My condolences to the Johnson family and to Mrs. Rosa, my thoughts and prayers are with you.

Rose, Sharon, Phillip, Joshua and Rebecca,
We are so sad. Please know we are thinking of all of you.
Rose, we will always remember the many times we had a wonderful Sunday dinner at your house and the four of us played cards and visited. Also, remember the concerts we went to together, plus the visit you two made to see us in Richmond. They are special memories we will never forget. We will miss Ray.
