Leslie Anne Howe Misler passed away on December 31st, 2022 in Smithfield, North Carolina. She was a native of Pottstown, Pennsylvania, born to Robert and Lucille Howe. She was one of 4 girls: Cheryl Bowman, Mary Howe, and Marjorie Ervin, all of whom live in Pennsylvania today. She attended St. Pius X High School and graduated from Pottstown High School. She graduated from Montgomery County Community College and became an RN. She spent time traveling the country and exploring the US before settling into the medical field. She worked at multiple hospitals across Pennsylvania, Florida, and North Carolina caring for the mentally ill and addicted. She was a nurse administrator at Neil Dobbins Center in Asheville, North Carolina. She loved to care for people, and she had a big heart that would shine through her work. She loved animals, the outdoors, her family, and The Beatles. She traveled extensively around the United States and had a wicked sense of humor.
Leslie was a loving mother and had two sons, Derek and Zachary. There was never enough love to give in their house growing up and she was never shy to share it with others. She made sure to instill kindness and compassion in each of her two sons, and was proud of the men they grew to be.
She is survived by sons Derek Misler (wife Erica) and Zachary Misler (wife Caroline) and her beloved granddaughter Nina Misler. Also her sisters Cheryl, Mary, and Marjorie, as well as many nieces and nephews.
She will be missed by all.
