Mrs. Linda Bowden Horseman

A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held 3:00 PM Friday, November 8, 2024 at Hocutt Baptist Church in Clayton, of which she was a member, with Reverend Dr. Steve Roy officiating.

The family will receive friends at the church immediately following the service.

Linda was born in Nashville, North Carolina on January 25, 1949 to the late Bennett Columbus Bowden and the late Lessie Mae Boone Bowden. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Samantha Horseman.

She loved her family and was steadfast in her willingness to help others. As a devout Christian, she was dedicated in her service to her extended church family and her God. She had a lifelong love of cats and is survived by her latest, Tango. She enjoyed creating, and was skilled in a variety of arts and crafts.

She is survived by her husband, Scott Horseman; son, Tim Lucas of Wilson, NC; and sister, Dot Coley of Nashville, NC.
