I'm not sure I've ever met a more likable guy. I was so used to stopping in the LBJ and conversing with him,had not seen him in several weeks due to prior commitments. I was just devastated to hear of this fine mans passing. My heartfelt condolences to his family and we will continue to miss his presence on this earth.

Dearest Jewell and family,
I just watched the tribute video and felt the love "Donnie" as we called him, for his family. Jewell, your love for him gave him a life he never knew growing up. Mom loved him as her own and Lanny had a bond with the only brother he had. I was not as close to Donnie but knew he had a heart of gold.
Please know you are being lifted in prayer and that peace and comfort will come. Hold tight to all those precious memories.

With love and sympathy,
Betty Jo Garrett
