When I first met Mrs Henry it was where I work (Duke Cancer Center) what a loving person, always hugged me when her and her husband would see me, loved our talks, she talked about her grandchildren and loved them so much, I’m going to miss seeing her and her husband, my condolences to the family

We were heartbroken to hear about the passing of Marilyn. As neighbors and friends, we shared so many small but meaningful moments over the years — swimming, bowling, kids playing ManHunt and the amazing grilled cheese that she used to make. 

All of the conversations, the warm greetings, and the kind presence that made our neighborhood feel like home. She will be deeply missed not just by me, but by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

I had the special privilege of meeting Marilyn and doing her hair right before her diagnosis. She was one of my first clients after moving here and we instantly created a bond. She loved her hair and you could tell that just having it done, made her feel better!  
Although my time with her was not very long, she left a big impression. She shared many stories about her family and how much she loved them. She also shared the hardship of going through her treatments and tried to keep a positive attitude through it all.  She will be missed and loved by many. Her family are in my prayers❤️

Marilyn and I met through social media through her daughter Dana. We shared something in common that no one would want to share and that is Pancreatic Cancer. I was diagnosed in 2020 with stage 3 and I am now in remission. I was also diagnosed with breast cancer last year. Marilyn was so supportive and encouraging through my new battle even though she was going through her own. I will never forget her heart for others and her family. She was a fighter and I hope I was able to give her a tiny ray of hope through this battle. Rest easy my friend, your battles over.

While she was a Mema to some; I will forever remember taking rides in the spaceship; she left a remarkable mark on all who she met.

I was stunned and saddened to read of Marilyn's passing.  My heart goes out to each and every family member.  She loved you all so much and was so proud of her grandchildren. 
I remember Marilyn when my (at the time, future) husband, James and I used to visit Cousin Marie.  Marilyn was about 8 yrs old and in love with James. Both of her sisters were too and weren't happy with me.   She was always such a sweet little girl and later in life she was such fun to be around.  I have good memories of Marie and her 3 daughters and I will carry these memories forever in my heart.
