A native of Onslow County, Marilyn was born April 11, 1945 to the late Darwin Edward and Gladys Carol Taylor Sanders. She loved watching the UNC Tarheels, and NASCAR, but her favorite thing to do was to spend time with her family, especially while out on the water boating and fishing.
She is survived by her sons, Timothy Ambrose Cox and Richard Eugene Warren, Jr.; grandchildren, Jordan Scott Warren and Tiffany Krystal Cox; great grandson, Samuel Monte Sandoval; a brother, Darwin Edward Sanders, Jr.; and sister, Donna Carol Sanders Taylor.
A celebration of her life will be held Friday, October 2, 2015 at 6pm in the McLaurin Funeral Home Chapel, 12830 US HWY 70 Business West, Clayton, NC 27520. The family will receive friends following the service.
