I only knew Mark for a very short time from work. We connected on the subject of old cars. Although we never interacted outside of work I do consider Mark to be one of my friends. Rest in peace my brother.

So sorry to hear about Mark passing. Mark passed on a legacy to all the boys playing SSS Baseball and his own children. My deepest condolences to Brandy and the boys. He is now coaching Baseball for the lord . Rest in peace brother.

Wayne and I are so deeply saddened by the loss of Mark. We pray for comfort and peace to you and your family. Mark was such a very kind man. We enjoyed having him and Brandy over at the house for cards.

My name is Irene Shephard Alford, I work with Mark Lee at kabi pharmaceuticals the name change to pharcia upjohn l didn't take junk from no body, But Mark was one nice young man I spoke to Mark on the phone one Saturday my grandson Brajion and Jalyn was at the flea market Jalyn used his cellphone to call his dad for me,l was so glad to say hello it's been  l know  it's been maybe 20 or 25 years you don't forget a good friend  Mark is in heaven looking down on y'all Mark was at a game with his younger son that Saturday I could tell he was really excited about the game I will keep the family in my 🙏🏾🙏🏾 I'm so so sorry

Mark,I cherish our memories of when you visited me and Dan when you were just a little boy. We took you fishing down on a river close by and you had such a wonderful time. Sending condolences from the Colville family who met Mark, Brandy & their boys through baseball.  We enjoyed many days at the ballfield together.  We're praying for your family. 

Mark never left you without a smile,he would honestly give the shirt off his back if the need ever arose. I hadn't seen Mark since 1983, when I graduated Clayton High and enlisted in the Army,but he has a great spot in my memories. To the family, I am very sorry for the loss of Mark, the Lord has an Angel with him, that's for sure.

I worked with Mark for several years at Biogen (2015 to 2018).  He always had great stories to tell about his family and baseball!  He loved his family so much and was so proud of his boys.  He was always so passionate and had a smile that always warmed your heart.  

I knew Mark from high school days and when he played softball  and hung out at my Uncle  Bobby's  store he truly loved playing ball and fast cars..... RIP Mark..🙏🙏

Mark and I first met at a baseball game for our boys. From there we quickly became friends. He never knew a stranger and would help anyone.  I do and will miss the days I would drive by his house and see him on the porch swing. I would stop thinking it would be a ten minute visit. Before I knew it it was an hour later.   He was a great man, friend, husband, and father. 

I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know Mark through the game we both loved and loved to watch our boys play (baseball)! He had a huge  passion for the game and LOVED to watch his boys play. He would always take the time to show any kid a small trick to help their swing or pitch. He was a great friend and it was a pleasure to know him. I will miss his huge smile and his baseball stories. Until we meet again ole buddy!!!!

Brandy and family I'm at loss as what to say. I could share so much about Mark he was just a heck of guy. People know from the legacy he live and that is the dash - from the time of birth till the time of death  1960-2019 you shared so much.

I was shocked and so devastated when I found out my friend, Mark passed away.  I have so many memories of Mark, as do most people who knew Mark.  He was honest to the core, but more importantly he truly loved and cared for his friends.  Mark was a godly man, he loved his wife and boys more than anything in this world. Mark was loved by so many.  He has been a brother to our family for many years.  Always Full of Life, always smiling and would make so many others smile.  Since  1978 I don’t think there was ever a time I didn’t see him what he didn’t give me a hug.  Just back in August I got another hug from him. I was fortunate enough to work with Mark at Bayer many years ago and most recently at Novo for the past 1.5 years. We traveled to Springfield and Branson MO ,  last year for a week and we had a great time working  and enjoyed a baseball game. I'll cherish those memories forever.   Mark got along with everyone, he never met a stranger, and told the best stories one has ever heard.  He was a great family man and talked about the boys and Brandy often.  Prayers for the family in this difficult time. 

I am just another lucky person that had the pleasure of having (black haired Mark Lee ) as part of my life growing up. Our high school years were awesome as the class of 78 was tight. After high school I also had the chance to race with Mark at Nahunta race track for a few years. Heck I even bought his 1st race car. Memories I will never forget. You will be missed my friend. Love you brother. 

Mark and I had some good childhood memories. He was always so sweet and kind. He was most proud of his children. I know they have all great memories to hold in their heart.  Growing up, I don’t remember a time without Mark. The memories I have are great, everything from laughing, joking, playing ball, racing, going to the Bulls game, fishing, skiing and him singing “under the boardwalk”. Mark you will forever be my honorary uncle, may you Rest In Peace.
Brandy, you and the boys have my deepest sympathy. Words cannot heal the hurt and the only thing any of us can truly offer is prayer and shared memories of the great man he was.

I grew up with Mark @ Bartex.  I have known  Mark my whole life. He is by far the nicest most decent human being that I have ever know. I remember Mark and me as kids was playing chicken in the road  when I went in the road to play chicken my daddy was driving his truck. Daddy ran up in the mill lot to miss me and hollered “Tommy go home now”. I remember Mark got on his bike riding home hollered Grandma Buddy is going to kill Tommy. He was scared and I was scared.  That was so funny looking back on this. I have cried so much from his passing. The world just lost a Fantastic Great Man.
