Marlise Elizabeth (Frauenhofer) Sage, 60, passed away Saturday, March 7, 2026. Marlise was born in Queens, NY on April 24, 1965. She grew up in Connecticut and moved to North Carolina as a young adult. Marlise was a long time employee of Kroger and loved playing bingo with her many friends after her retirement.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Barbara Frauenhofer.
Marlise is survived by her husband of 34 years, Paul Sage; her daughter, Morgan Sage Fagan (Tim); son, Matthew Sage (Ali); stepson, William Sage (Kelly); 5 beautiful grandchildren, Rylan, Lily, Madelyn, Abigail and Bailey; sisters, Amy Barton (David); Mary Sandkam (Robert); a special sister-in-law, Sandra Sage and many nieces, nephews, in-laws, and cousins.
A service will be held at a later date.
