Marvin Glenwood Parrish, 79, son of the late Jesse L. and Ola Mae Creech Parrish passed away Sunday, July 23, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 3:00pm on Wednesday July 26, 2017 in the Chapel of McLaurin Funeral Home with Rev. Bethea Moore officiating. Interment will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park. He is survived by his daughter; Suzanne Whitford and her husband Jeff, sons; Stephen Parrish, Philip Parrish and his wife Teri, sisters; Faye Shingleton and Carol Lushene-Edwards, brother; Harold Parrish, his best friend; Ruby Parrish, five grandchildren, three great- grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son; Marvin G. “Marty” Parrish, Jr., brothers; Loumas, William and Thurman Parrish, sisters; Myrtie Adkins and Linda Grissom. The family will receive friends on Wednesday one hour prior to the service from 2 until 3:00pm at the funeral home.
