A native of Johnston County, Billy was born May 12, 1941 to the late Marvin J. and Doris Watson Parrish. He served his country in the US Navy working as a jet aircraft mechanic. Billy worked for the NC Department of Transportation as a draftsman. Billy attended River Oak Church of God, in Selma.
He is survived by his daughter, Wendy Pollock and husband, Earl; granddaughters, Anna and Lauren Pollock; and a nephew, Kenneth Ray Jarman, II.
A graveside service will be held Friday, January 26, 2018, at 3pm, at Knollwood Memorial Park, 4362 US 70 Business Highway W., Clayton, NC 27520.
