A time to celebrate Matt's life will be held at the family residence at 2:00 pm on October 5, 2023.
Matt was the sweetest husband and father. He loved his family with his whole heart. His greatest joy was being a provider for his wife and son. He loved life and was always dreaming up something new and exciting for him and his family.
He had just started his dream job as a Field Technical Specialist for Southeast Toyota Distributors. He was also very close to finishing his Bachelor’s of Science in Automotive Technology Management.
Matt’s ability as a technician and as an FTS was brilliant, yet he was so humble. He was that way with everything. And he even had straight A’s in school, a fact he was very proud of.
Matt loved rock climbing and adventuring with his family and friends. And he was a great rock climber.
Matt had a charm about him that brought people together. No one was a stranger around him. He was always welcoming and friendly. He made lifelong friends everywhere he went. He was a confident and wonderful young man.
Matt was born in Gretna, Louisiana to the late Veronica Chatelain Riedlinger and Floyd Riedlinger on September 17th, 1991. He leaves behind his beautiful wife Robin Riedlinger and young son Cameron Riedlinger. He is also survived by his son Braydon Riedlinger, brother Floyd Riedlinger, sister-in-law Jessica Riedlinger, niece Madison, and nephew Chase, and many other family and friends who loved him very much.
His mom would tell you he’s always been an angel. And his wife would say he was taken too soon.
Online condolences may be made to the family at: www.mclaurinatpinecrest.com.
McLaurin Funeral Home in Clayton is honored to be assisting the Riedlinger family.
