Aunt Melba was with my nineteen year old Mother when she was having me seventy years ago. They have continued to be just that close loving and supporting one another in all the ups and downs life has had to offer them. Aunt Melba has set a Christian example for all of us many nieces and nephews by keeping in touch and loving all of us unconditionally. As she lost her brothers and sisters, she reached out to the children that were left and did her best to love them even more. At Amelia she lead all of us by doing what Jesus would do. Even in her Senior Years, she reached out, visited, loved and continued to set that same example of doing what Jesus would do. Aunt Melba will forever live in our hearts and minds.
Love, Frankie

Ms. Melba will surely be missed by all. She was such a sweet lady and always spoke so kind of everyone. Marie and I were friends while growing up and still are as we reach our sunset years. Ms. Melba's love was shown in so many ways. I would always get a hug when I went back to Amelia for a visit. Good to know her journey is over and she is in the presence of Christ tonight. God Bless this family....

Our love goes out to Melba Aiken. Thank you, God, for sharing this angel with everyone at Amelia Church. Ms. Melba spread your love with her sweet smile and soft voice. She carried your love in her heart and spread the seed with everyone she met. I believe her legacy will last forever in our hearts. We will miss her but know she is in your company now!
