Melissa “Lisa” Lynn Holcombe-Welch, age 58, of Garner, NC, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 1, 2025. Born in Jacksonville, Florida, on February 9, 1967, she was a daughter to Jimmy Holcombe and the late Elizabeth Horne Holcombe.
Lisa Graduated from Cary High School in 1985 and went on to obtain an associate’s degree in business from Wake Technical College. She enjoyed volunteering for Find-a-Grave and was very interested in Genealogy.
A gathering of friends and family will be held from 6:00pm-8:00pm at McLaurin Funeral Home on Friday, November 7, 2025.
Lisa is survived by her husband, Troy Eric Welch; sons, Lucas and Shane Welch; father, Jimmy Holcombe; sister, Regina Meeks; brothers, Allen and Danny Holcombe; mother and father-in-law, Joe and Roswitha Damann; brother- in- law, Shawn Welch; niece, Alana Holcombe; nephews, Brandon and Jordan Rogers; and great niece, Allison Rogers.
