Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Sunday September 1, 2019 at McLaurin Funeral Home, Clayton, NC. Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday September 1, 2019 at McLaurin Funeral Home with the Rev. Billy Nowell officiating. Burial will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park. The family will also be receiving friends at their home at other times.
Woody was born in Johnston County to Wayne and Madelyn Pulley on October 2, 1967. He was a graduate of Clayton High School. He worked as a Master Carpenter for J & R Briggs Construction in New Hill, NC.
Woody is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Woodrow and Faye Jones of Clayton, NC. and paternal grandparents Millard and Grace Pulley of Clayton, NC.
Woody is survived by his parents Wayne and Madelyn Pulley of Clayton, NC; one sister, Denise Dudley and husband Andy of Smithfield, NC, nieces; Carrie and Allison Dudley of Smithfield, NC and Striker, his blue-tick hound faithful companion.
Woody also has a special New Hill Family; Jeff, Renee and Matthew Briggs. You will forever be Woody’s special family.
Pallbearers will be Tim Benson, Jeff Briggs, Matthew Briggs, Jon Crowe, Jeff Hopper and Justin Pulley.
