Nuitt Langdon, age 72, passed away on May 22, 2025, at Transitions Life Care, Hospice House in Raleigh, NC.
Born in Cleveland Township, Garner NC on June 13, 1952 to Cleveland Ralph and Mavis Bell Langdon, Nuitt made friends easily, especially lifelong friends, fishing buddies, people where he worked, and family friends. He was a reserved but caring person, never pushy, and jumped in to help people who needed him. He especially loved his brother, W. R. Langdon, who was always a big part of Nuitt’s life. His brother-in-law, Bob Kaufman, was a good buddy for Nuitt in fishing adventures at the NC coast in particular. Nuitt loved deep sea fishing and had many stories and adventures at the NC coast. His family was always a big part of these adventures. He held a Captain’s License for deep sea fishing and used it often. Nuitt had many awards from Ford Motor Company and was a Master Mechanic there. He worked as a mechanic for other companies and was owner of Langdon Service Center in Clayton for several years.
Once you met Nuitt, you did not forget him. He attracted people to him by his presence, caring attitude and willingness to help others. Freely giving and never asking for anything in return. A man that everyone who met, would not forget. He was loved immediately by many, especially his wife, Judy.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Perry Mason Langdon (Trinna).
Nuitt is survived by his loving wife, Judy (Judith), his daughters, Valerie Lipscomb (James), Jeannette Wydick (Jim), his beloved siblings, William Ralph Langdon (Catherine), Phyllis Kaufman (Bob), his grandchildren James Howard Lipscomb II, Ashley Vinson Lipscomb, Virginia Chase Lipscomb, Elijah Langdon Lipscomb, Jacob Langdon Wydick, step-grandchildren James Ryan Wydick, Megan Wydick Martin, and many special nieces and nephews.
