On Friday, July 12, 2019, Pamela Gibson-Thomas, a loving mother, sister, and friend, went home to be with her Heavenly Father at the age of 58.
Pamela was born on December 7, 1960 in Boston, Massachusetts. She was born with a loving, angelic spirit to Patricia and John Willis. On May 8, 2017 she graduated with high honors and a 4.0 GPA from Johnston Community College. One of her greatest accomplishments in life was being a mother. She loved her 3 daughters, Sheena, Sheniece, and Shanelle, her 2 grandchildren, Cadence and Brien, and son-in-laws, David and Brien.
In her early 20s, her oldest sister led her to the Lord. After accepting the Lord as her personal savior, she remained faithful to Him until the day she died. She loved the Lord with all her heart, mind, and soul. She lived as the Lord commanded. She loved her neighbors as herself. Now she is with the Lord, resting in peace. Aside from being an active church member, she enjoyed spending time with her grandkids, watching “Lord of the Rings,” and anything to do with numbers. She was known for her gentle touch, smile, and spirit.
Pam was survived by her children Sheena, Sheniece, and Shanelle, her grandchildren Cadence and Brien, grandmother Patricia Gibson-Willis,siblings Raymond, Mary, Vaughn, Susan, Bruce, Lisa and Patty, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
So death, where is your sting? Grave, where is your victory? Pamela is in the arms of her Savior. I, myself, am in peace.
