A graveside service will be held 3:00 PM Wednesday, May 21, 2025 in the Mausoleum Chapel of Pinecrest Memorial Park in Clayton, North Carolina.
Mrs. McKinney was born in Camden, New Jersey on August 4, 1943 to the late Anthony Karangelen and the late Hallie Bowling Karangelen. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Ralph Anthony “Tony” McKinney; her husband, Ralph Madison McKinney, Jr; one brother and two sisters.
She was retired from the childcare industry.
She is survived by her two sons, Timothy Wayne McKinney and Jason Keith McKinney; seven grandchildren, Leigha McKinney, Christopher Hellton McKinney, Nashua Chase McKinney, Cameron Lee McKinney, Julia Alexandria McKinney, Kathryn Ann Marie McKinney, and Collin Ray McKinney; three great grandchildren and another on-the-way; and four sisters.
