Richard Edward "Ricky" Green

Richard Edward "Ricky" Green loving husband, son, brother and friend to all passed on August 8, 2026, at the age of 72. Born on June 26, 1954, in Johnston County Ricky was a lifelong resident of Clayton, North Carolina.

He is survived by his wife, Wanda G. Green; brother, Gary Green; mother-in-law, Dorothy Gazaway; sister-in-law, Sharon Ragan; nephews, Rocky Colavito and his wife, Jamie, Brian Green and Bruce Green; nieces, Grace Ragan and Shannon Ragan; great niece, Megan Colavito; great nephews, John Colavito II, Wyatt Hawkins and Sloan Ragan; aunt, Ellen Hinnant and uncle, Ron Crumpler. Many cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Green, his mother, Janice Dandridge and a brother, Dennis Green.

Ricky was a hard worker for many years with his home improvement business. He loved meeting and talking with people, enjoyed sports especially football and baseball, going to the mountains and spending time with his family above all he loved his Lord and his church.

A man who never met a stranger, Ricky will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

A private graveside service will be held at Pinecrest Memorial Park, Clayton.
