Bob was born in Lowell, Massachusetts on September 27, 1938 to the late Arthur Cote and the late Yvonne Lafebvre Cote. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Dick.
For 39 years, Bob worked with the IRS as a computer programmer, retiring in 1999. Because he loved his country, he was proud to serve as a member of the National Guard. Throughout his lifetime, Bob enjoyed camping across the US with his family, bowling & especially golfing. Working as a Ranger on a local golf course after retirement allowed him to practice his game. St Martin & Mexico were just a couple of his favorite tropical destinations where he would indulge in a Pina Colada or two!!! You would always find Bob in his recliner on Sundays watching the New England Patriots and especially cheering on Tom Brady. However, what he loved best of all and was most proud of was his family.
Bob is survived by his loving wife Claire of nearly 62 years; sons, Steven Cote (wife Kathy), David Cote (wife Lindsay Addison) & Paul Cote; grandchildren, Devon Cote (wife Huynh Vo), Nicole Cote, Sean Cote & Matthew Cote; bonus grandchildren, Evan Addison, Gavin Addison & Bryce Addison; great grandchildren, Bradley, Killian & Leonardo.
A memorial service will be held privately.
