A memorial service to celebrate Bob’s life will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, August 29, 2026 at Community Baptist Church, 617 Cornwallis Road, Garner, North Carolina.
He was born in New Bern, North Carolina on July 6, 1950 to the late Robert Lee Joyner and the late Oma Marie Simpson Joyner and raised in Pamlico County, North Carolina.
He is survived by his wife, Bettie Price Joyner; two children, Robert Lee Joyner and Amy Marie Joyner; four grandchildren, Brandon, Abigail, MacKenzie and Hannah; two grandchildren, Evelyn and Kipton; and three sisters, Peggy Brinson, Dorothy Wayne and Evon Daniels.
