Robert Eugene “Bob” Sampson, the son of the late George W. and Allie Blake Sampson passed away Friday, July 8, 2016 at the age of 57. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00am Monday, July 11, 2016 in the chapel of McLaurin Funeral Home with entombment to follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Monday, one hour prior to the service from 10:00 until 11:00 at the funeral home. He is survived by his wife; Gina C. Sampson, daughter; Laura Palombizio, son; Logan Sampson, daughter; Alyssa Sampson, brothers; George Sampson and his wife Sharon, James Sampson and his wife Melissa, Samuel Sampson and Michael Sampson, sisters; Barbara Bailey and her husband Cecil, Bonnie McConnell and her husband Charles, Sue Smith and her husband Don. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, William C. Sampson and a sister, Betty Jean Barnhart.
