Sandra Olivia Keiser

Sandra Olivia Keiser, beloved wife of Robert Keiser of Clayton, NC, passed away peacefully at the age of 83 on February 4th, 2024. She is survived by her loving husband, Robert Keiser; her brother, John Sabo of Richmond, VA; her daughter, Tracilee Desautels and husband, Rich of Shelton, CT; her son, Todd Keiser and his partner, Teresa Allen of Sanford, NC; and her daughter, Trisha DeHart and husband, John DeHart of Apex, NC.

Sandra was predeceased by her brother, William Sabo and sisters-in-law, Mary Anne Sabo and Susan Sabo. She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories, especially with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Her grandchildren include Erica Desautels and husband, Ta-wei Lin of Boston, MA; Brittni Kaufman and her husband, Thomas Kaufman of Brooklyn, NY, Sean and Chloe DeHart of Apex, NC, Ethan Desautels and Rose Desautels both of Shelton, CT, Ellie Desautels and fiancé, Wren Hallman of Ansonia, CT as well as Jessica Keiser and partner, Jody Galemba of Bridgeport, CT. Her great-grandchildren include Autumn Desautels of Shelton, CT, Zoe Kaufman and Owen Kaufman of Brooklyn, NY.

Sandra was known for her vibrant spirit, her love of dancing, and her joy in spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A pioneer in the world of Nintendo and the internet, she was also a dedicated beachcomber who found solace and happiness walking with Bob along the shores of Walnut Beach, Milford, CT, and basking in the warmth of the North Carolina sun during her retirement years.

Her passion for gardening and her appreciation for the beauty of flowers brought color and joy into her life and the lives of those around her. Born in Fairfield, CT, and spending most of her life in Trumbull, CT, Sandra's presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A celebration of Sandra's life will be held at 10:00am on Friday, February 23, 2024 in the chapel of McLaurin Funeral Home, Clayton, NC.
