Memorial services will be held at 3pm Saturday, September 28 at White Oak
Baptist Church in Archer Lodge. Arrangements are by McLaurin Funeral
Home.
Shannon was born in Raleigh, N.C. to William Cousins and Teresa Purvis on
May 10, 1990. She went to school at Clayton High School. She worked as a
supervisor for Starbucks in Denver, C.O. and volunteered previously with
the Archer Lodge Community Center. She was a firearms enthusiast and
instructor who also loved rock climbing and music.
Shannon is survived by her sister, Shelley Turnage and husband, Aaron,
father, William Cousins; mother Teresa Purvis and husband, Jim.
Memorial donations may be given in lieu of flowers to the American
Diabetes Association.
