Sherrie Lynne Beves Blizzard, 55, passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2019. Funeral service will be held on Friday at 11:00am in the chapel of McLaurin Funeral Home with Rev. Freddie Braswell officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.

She is survived by her husband, J. Doug Blizzard; daughter, Kelsey Ewert of Tuscaloosa, AL; a son, Ryan Ewert of Garner; step daughters, Camden Blizzard and Hannah Blizzard both of Kitty Hawk; father, Bill Beves of Raleigh; sister, Mary B. Johnson and her husband Pete of Wendell; nieces, Brittney Johnson of Salt Lake City, UT and Kalyn Johnson of Greenville; aunt, Donna Puckett and her husband Chet of Louisville, KY; father and mother-in-law, Doug and Judi Blizzard of Smithfield; sister-in-law, Suzanne Boutwell and her husband Keith of Cary; niece, Megan Boutwell of Cary.
