

Thomas Elton Green, 84, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, July 27, 2026. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Isa Kleppel Green. Tom was born on October 10, 1941 in Clayton, North Carolina to the late Elton and Bertha Green. A graveside private service for the immediate family will be held on Monday, August 3, 2026 at 10:00 am in the Pinecrest Memorial Park Mausoleum.
He is survived by his two sons, Tommy Green (Paula) and Ronnie Green (Linda); grandsons, Brandon Green (Heather); Travis Green (Bree); Dalton Green (Kayla); great granddaughters Madison, Dallas and Josie; and great grandson Floyd.
Tom was one of eleven children and is survived by his sister, Carolyn Whitley; and his brothers, Phil Green, Steve Green, Larry Green and Mike Green. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by sisters Nola Mae Olive and Tinnie Barber; brothers James Green, Alonza Green and T. Elton Green, Jr.
Tom proudly served in the US Army and retired from his position as Service Manager at Bobby Murray Chevrolet in Raleigh, North Carolina. In his spare time, he enjoyed raising beagles for field trials and was a well-known beagle trial judge across the States. He liked to hunt on the weekends with his son, grandsons, and good friends. He found great joy in spending time with his family and friends.
