Mr. Vasser G Liles Sr

CLAYTON – Vasser Glenwood Liles, Sr., age 92, passed away Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at Tower Nursing and Rehab in Raleigh.

A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, May 8, 2021 at Pinecrest Memorial Park with Pastor Spencer Strickland officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday, May 7, 2021 at McLaurin Funeral Home.

He was born September 22, 1928 in Wake County to the late Hudson Liles and the late Lillie Taylor Liles. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, six brothers, first wife Rebecca Fowler Liles, and second wife Maefred Stearns Liles.

Mr. Liles is survived by his daughter, Becky Maye of Rolesville; son Vasser Glenwood “Glen” Liles, Jr. of Louisburg; five grandchildren, Amie Maye Shehzad, Melissa Liles Taylor, Gregory Neal Liles, Lori Maye Callaway and Sarah Nicole Liles; great grandchildren, Jordan Maye, Jibran Shehzad, Trace Taylor and Alyssa Callaway.
