Vicki Verlene Childers, age 79, passed away on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, surrounded by her family. Vicki was born in Waterloo, Iowa on February 1, 1946, to the late Verl and Betty Cannon Hickman. She enjoyed spending time outdoors, observing nature and taking trips to the mountains.
She is survived by her sons, John Hickman and Shawn Childers; a daughter, Cindy Wood; grandchildren, Jason, Ryan, Amanda, AJ, Austin, Kyndall, Kaytlynn and Kyrstin and a brother, Ronnie Hickman.
A memorial service celebrating Vicki’s life will be held at 2:30pm on Saturday, June 7, 2025 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses 3094 Cornwallis Rd. Garner, NC.
