Benny and Renee,
I was sorry to learn from Jenni yesterday of Walter’s death. Walter was a unique treasure for all of us and we know you’ll miss him dearly. Walter’s sense of humor was always on full display and fun to enjoy, and his love for Rena was so evident, especially in his good-humored banter with her. He and Rena welcomed our family to Amelia with open arms and were always loving and supportive of us over the years, even as we came to different places, and we respected and appreciated and loved them both. On behalf of Jenni, Chris, and Jennifer, know our thoughts and prayers are with you and your families.

Benny,
I’m sorry to hear of your dad’s death. Walter was certainly one of the world’s good men. He was one of the folks who treated the new CP employees with kindness and respect, and I’ll always s remember him fondly.

I know this is a sad time for you and all your family. In this time of sadness, I trust God will let you remember the good times, “...as a teardrop hangs over a smile.” God bless y’all, Lewis Ware

If you knew Walter Harold, you can only imagine what kind of neighbor he was to us for over 42 years. There was never a dull moment. We enjoyed many 4th of July Picnics with so many people there we barely were able to park all the cars. We weren't really kin, but he made us feel we were, so much that letting him go has really been hard. He has missed his true love, Rena, but has managed to keep his sense of humor and kept us all going. Life with Walter Harold next door has been a joy. What will we do without him? His memory will live on with all of us.

Mr. Walter Harold was a great man with a great sense of humor and love for his God, Family and friends. From the first time I met Mr. Walter Harold at Amelia Church he treated my family and I as family. His loving spirit and laugher will be truly missed here on earth but the angels in heaven are laughing with him today. Go rest high on that mountain Mr. Walter Harold and we will laugh with you again one day.
