Percy passed away unexpectedly at his home on Monday, September 21st. He was born in Smithfield, NC, but was a resident of Clayton, NC his entire life. As an adult he was a professional dry cleaner for 15 years. Later he decided to buy a wrecker and contract his services. Anyone that knew him loved to hear him laugh. He was always joking or would pull jokes on someone just to make them laugh. He was just a gentle soul that enjoyed life and adventure. One of his favorite things to do was fish. He always wanted to catch "that big one".
He was predeceased in death by his father, William Percy Lynch. He is survived by his son, Brian S. Lynch and his wife Jessica Moore and 2 grandchildren, Jenna Moore and Evan Lynch; his mother, Juanita Tutoe Lunch; one brother, Joseph Anthony Lynch (Andy), and wife, Pinkey Lynch; their granddaughter Miracle Hall, and daughter April Wagner (deceased).
Percy was a very loving person but was most proud of his son and grandchildren. He loved spending time with them and creating wonderful memories. He will be missed by his family and numerous friends.
A memorial tribute will be held at a later date for family members and friends.
