William Troy Parnell, Sr., 75, passed away Tuesday. Funeral services will be held 1:00pm on Saturday at Mt. Calvary Church, burial will follow at Maplewood Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Glenda P. Parnell, daughters, Wendy Parnell Phippins and her husband Dannon, son, William Troy Parnell, Jr and his wife Amanda, sisters Mary Parnell and Doris Braswell, brother, Larry Jones, 5 grandchildren and I great grandchild. The family will receive friends Friday from 7-9:00pm at McLaurin Funeral Home. While flowers are accepted memorial contribution may also be made to the family to help with recent expenses.
