
Geraldine H. “Jeri” Rees passed away on December 14th, 2010. Jeri was born on July 18th, 1923 to Peter and Barbina Halverson. Jeri grew up in Seattle with her sisters and brother. She met and married Adolph “Cavi” Cavallini and settled in Cle Elum near Cavi’s family. Cavi and Jeri had two children a son, Larry and a daughter, Linda. When Jeri and Cavi divorced she met and married Frank Kladnik. Soon after, their son Frankie was born. When Jeri and Frank divorced, Jeri met and married Toni Rees. Over her lifetime Jeri held many different jobs, she was not afraid to work. She was especially proud of her time as a soldering expert for Boeing and working on the Minute Man Missile project. Jeri is best remembered for being the life of the party, her Thanksgiving and Christmas parties were the highlight of the year for family and friends. There wasn’t a holiday Jeri wouldn’t decorate for and she was always generous with candy and gifts. Her homemade ravioli is still the stuff of legend and her baked goods were out of this world. Jeri was preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Barbina; her brother, Richard “Dick” Halverson; her sisters, Pearl Cooper and Claires Halverson; and her former husbands, Cavi, Frank and Toni. Jeri is survived by her children, Larry (Gerrie) Cavallini, Linda McKean and Frank (Suzanne) Kladnik, along with several grandchildren and great grand children. Services will be held December 18th 11AM at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church along with graveside services and a celebration of Jeri’s life at the Cle Elum Eagles Lodge at 1P.M.
