

Harriet Lee Maloney (Williams) was born January 11, 1928 in Kansas City, Missouri to Laura and Harry Williams. At the age of 89 she went to the Lord and our Savior on March 27, 2017 in Cle Elum, Washington.
Harriet grew up in Forest Park and Round Lake Beach, Illinois. The family moved to Bremerton, Washington in 1944 where she graduated from Bremerton High School. She worked many interesting jobs, one of which was a human jukebox and another was switchboard operator in Bremerton.
She met the love of her life, Marcel (Mal) Maloney, in Bremerton. They married October 22, 1949. During the next twenty years she joined him at various Marine duty stations while raising their four children. In 1962 they moved to Wenatchee, Washington where she worked her apple/cherry orchard and raised her four children while Mal was serving his country away from home. After Mal retired from the Marine Corps they opened Century TV and Wenatchee Appliance Store. In 1994 they retired to Cle Elum.
Harriet loved to be busy. Her favorite hobbies and activities were swimming, gardening, camping, riding her ATV, sewing, cross-country skiing, cooking, but mainly spending time with her family. She always gave her all to working and playing.
She was preceded in death by a son, baby Marcel Maloney in 1953, her husband Mal on March 27, 2006 and a grandson Hank Avena, Jr in 2016. She is survived by her sister Laurette Pribbenow of Bremerton and Reta Stenoien of Cle Elum; her children; Sandra Martindale, Bill Maloney, Maurya and her husband Mike Broadsword, Dennis and his wife Timi Maloney, all of Cle Elum.
Her grandchildren: Marchel and her husband Dave Allenbaugh, Reese and his wife Kelsy Maloney, Maddie and her husband Steven Krier and Malaki Maloney, all of Cle Elum. Hank Avena of Brewster, Mark and his wife Tanya Avena of Spokane, and Kimberly McNeil of California.
She had eleven great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial services are Saturday, April 8th at 2:00 pm at the Cle Elum Alliance Church in South Cle Elum.
Any monetary donations can be made in her name to Animal Rescue Resource Fund in Roslyn or the Christian Alliance Benevolence Fund.
