Irene Ann Kurtz

She was born December 26, 1919 in Ellensburg, the daughter of Andrew Peter and Ida Mae Boedcher. She graduated from Cle Elum High School in 1936 and married Victor Kurtz in 1941. She worked for the Telephone Office in Cle Elum and Pardini's Family Clothing Store. Irene was a very private and positive person. She loved going to all of the Cle Elum High School Basket ball games with her special friend Teresa Andlar.

Irene was preceded in death by her husband Vic in 1983, son Larry in 2009, her parents Peter, Ida Mae, and brothers Keith and Ernest Boedcher.

Surviving her are daughter Carol Walker of East Wenatchee, daughter-in-law Chris Kurtz of Georgia, 6 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Irene's request was to not have a Funeral or Memorial service, but to remember her as we knew her. One thing for sure Irene you will be greatly missed
