

Velma Patty (Morris) Clark of Roslyn passed away on April 15, 2014. Velma was born on July 11, 1915 in Arkansas, and was married to Arthur Clark in Colorado. They lived in Roslyn for most of their lives, where Velma worked at Shoemaker Manufacturing when it was located in Roslyn, and Art was the Police Chief of Roslyn for many years. Velma was active in Mt. Pisgah Presbyterian Church in Roslyn, and was noted for her candy making and crafts.
Velma was preceded in death by her husband Art, her sisters Wilma Dixon and Joanne Coursey, her daughters Eunice Vukonich-Evenson and Arlynn Fischer, her granddaughter Joan F. Fischer, and her grandson Christopher S. Matthews.
Velma is survived by her son Phillip Clark of Olympia, 5 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
Velma is buried in Roslyn Memorial Gardens Cemetery next to her husband Arthur. A memorial service for Velma will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2014 at 1:00 pm at Mt. Pisgah Presbyterian Church in Roslyn, Washington. Her cremation arrangements were under the direction of Cascade Funeral Home, Cle Elum, Washington.
