Mrs. Fargo was born March 30, 1928 in Clearfield, the daughter of Donald L. “Jack” and Susan G. (Burchfield) Mohney.
She worked for Sears, Undercoffer Florist and Brodys.
Mrs. Fargo was a member of the Calvary United Methodist Church of West Decatur.
Alice is survived by three children; Barbara Lumadue and her husband Larry of West Decatur, Carol Turner and her fiancé John Crissman of Clearfield and Robert Fargo and his wife Betsy of Washington, PA, five grandchildren; Adam Turner, Michelle Lonneville, Megan Clouner, Erik Fargo and Erin Ondek, five great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, a brother, Tom Mohney of Clearfield and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Raymond B. Fargo who passed away September 7, 2009 and whom she married April 14, 1950 at Trinity United Methodist Church and eight siblings; John P. “Jack” Mohney, Edith Felt, Margaret Vallimont, William, Robert and Richard Mohney, Mary Jane Smith and James Mohney.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Calvary United Methodist Church, West Decatur on Friday, December 14, 2018 at 4:00 PM with Pastor Sarah Kim officiating. Interment will be in Bradford Cemetery.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Calvary United Methodist Church, 167 Blue Ball Road, West Decatur, PA 16878 or the charity of the donor’s choice.
