Barbara E. Brown

Born March 16, 1949 in Clearfield, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Elsie (Fitzgerald) Ianaro.

Barb had been employed at Shortway Products and Clearfield Cheese. She was a member of the St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield as well as the Clearfield VFW auxiliary. Barb loved flowers and tending to her gardens. She had a special place in her heart for animals, many times taking care of animals that happened onto her property.

Barb is survived by her husband of 51 years, Robert E. Brown, whom she wed on June 7, 1975; a sister, Delores Myrter of Florida; a niece, Kim Kovall; and several cousins including Mike Ianaro, John M. Ianaro, Toby Reinke, Harry Salvatore.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Frank Ianaro Jr. and John Lee Ianaro.

In honoring her wishes, there will be no services observed. Burial will be in the Historic Crown Crest Cemetery, Hyde.

The family would like to extend their thanks to the nurses and staff at Ridgeview Healthcare and Rehabilitation, Curwensville as well as the nurses and staff on the fourth floor at Penn Highlands DuBois. Your care and attention for Barb was very much appreciated.
