

She was born on March 6, 1930 on Clearfield; a daughter of the late Maurice J. Brion and Helen Theo (Martin) Brion.
Mrs. Conaway attended Clearfield High School and worked for J.C. Penny Company and was a member of Clearfield Presbyterian Church.
She was a member of the Women’s Circle at the Clearfield Presbyterian Church, Sunday school, and NON Club. She was a great baker, always volunteered at church, and volunteered at the Clearfield County Fair.
Additionally, she enjoyed traveling to Ocean City, MD with her husband and family.
Survivors include one daughter, Debora Worley and her husband Kevin of Clearfield; grandchildren: Justin Curtis Worley, Brion Reed Worley and his wife Julie, and Beth Ann Schmidt and her husband Ron; great-grandchildren: Austin Reed Worley, Aubrey Lillian Worley, and Emerson Ann Worley; daughter-in-law, Barbara L. Conaway; and siblings: Patricia Ann O’Brien, John M. Brion, William T. Brion, Sandra L. Taylor, and Linda S. Cagle; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Sherman R. Conaway, whom she married on March 15, 1947 and who passed away February 18, 2001; and son, Roger Clark Conaway.
Funeral services are to be held at the Bennett & Houser Funeral Home, Inc. on Monday, October 25, 2021 at 11 am with Pastor Jimmy Hopper and Mr. Richard B. Barkley co-officiating. Interment will be in Crown Crest Memorial Park.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, October 24, 2021 from 4-8 pm and on Monday, October 25, 2021 from 10 am until hour of services.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Clearfield Presbyterian Church, 119 N. 2nd Street, Clearfield, PA 16830.
