Betty J. (Royer) Gillingham, 77, of Clearfield, passed away on Wednesday, July 4, 2018 surrounded by her family.
Born on April 27, 1941 in Clearfield; she is the daughter of the late Alphonse F. Royer and Ida L. (Antes) Royer.
On March 15, 1958 in Clearfield Betty married the love of her life, Donald B. Gillingham, Sr. She was a member of the Clearfield Alliance Church and a homemaker. She enjoyed playing cards, especially, 500 Rummy, and bowling.
Survivors include her husband; three children, Karen Ann Shoffner and her husband Gary of Hyde, Linda Marie Gillingham of Clearfield, and Donald B. Gillingham, Jr. and his wife Barbi Jean of Clearfield; nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren ; three brothers, Thomas Royer, Alphonse Royer, Jr., and Ernest Royer; three sisters, Nancy Bowman, Patricia Albert, and Isabelle Moyer.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two daughters, Kathy Louise Gillingham and Lorie Lee Gillingham; one sister, Mary Ann Royer; and one brother, Daniel Royer.
Funeral services will be held at the Bennett & Houser Funeral Home, Inc. on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Robert B. Goldenberg and Rev. Dr. Duane A. White.
Friends and family are invited to the funeral home on Friday, July 6, 2018 from 7-9 PM and on Saturday, July 7, 2018 from 9 AM until hour of services.

So many memories of my nanny. One that I will never forget is my wedding day. Having her and my pappy there to watch as I took the next step in life and give me there blessing. Gone but never forgotten. ❤️❤️
