

Born December 4, 1941, in Clearfield, the daughter of Jack and Vivian (Reed) Wilson.
She was a proud graduate of Clearfield Area High School and the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia.
Bonnie spent her career as a Dental Hygienist and practiced for close to 50 years.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Mechanicsburg.
Bonnie is survived by two daughters; Carrie Ball and her husband Alan of Mechanicsburg and Holly Colafella and her husband Steve of Pittsburgh, eight grandchildren; Lauren Ball, Madison Ball, Connor Ball, Kiersten Ball, Olivia Colafella, Christian Colafella, Luca Colafella and Brielle Colafella, three brothers; Terry Wilson and his wife Sharon of Clearfield, Dr. J. Edward Wilson and his wife Beverly of Harrisburg and Allen Wilson of Clearfield and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Thomas Bailey Hartsock whom she married February 24, 1962, at West Side United Methodist Church and who passed away August 2, 2022.
Bonnie enjoyed every minute of her life and lived it to the fullest. She loved music and singing and was a former member of the Sweet Adeline’s International Chorus. She also loved cooking, gardening, traveling, boating, biking and playing games. She was an avid golfer, having played on her high school team and throughout her life. She enjoyed boating and one of her favorite things to do was to be on the water riding her jet ski. Bonnie was a devoted Penn State fan. She rarely missed a home football game and loved tailgating with family and friends.
Bonnie mostly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, her extended family and her close friends. She also loved and cared for many dogs over the years.
The family would like to thank the staff at Colonial Courtyard at Clearfield and Memory Care for their excellent care. Bonnie had been a breast cancer survivor, and her journey had been featured in the October 2010 issue of Harrisburg magazine.
Funeral Services will be held at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Clearfield on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at 1:00 PM with Chaplin Tavis Stauffer officiating. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11:00 AM until the hour of services.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to 365 Hospice, 220 Regent Ct., State College, PA 16801 or a charity of the donor’s choice.
