

Born September 27, 1941 in Philipsburg, he was the son of the late Rev. Lyle and Ruth (Harrier) Miller.
Mr. Miller was employed for over 40 years on the railroad. He worked for Conrail, Penn Central, and retired from Norfolk Southern. He loved sports, from watching any sport to collecting baseball memorabilia. Mr. Miller was a member of the first Woodland Bigler Little League Baseball Team. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved attending local auctions.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Violet (Carter) Miller; two children, Betsy Solida of Clearfield, and Lonnie Miller and wife Melanie of Mahaffey; five grandchildren, Joshua Solida and wife Leah, Stephen Solida, Johnathan Miller and wife Griffin, Emily Zacherl and husband Elijah, and Adam Miller and companion Aly Chew; and a great grandson, Weston Miller.
Mr. Miller is preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Bonnie Miller; a son-in-law, Guy Solida; and a sister, Gala Ann Kephart.
In honor of Mr. Miller’s wishes, there will be no public services observed.
