A Poem written by Tammy Sue Johnson
Cheryl
From the pitter patter of tiny feet on the kitchen floor
To the knocking, so early, on God's temple door.
Cheryl's life was one, in which we all shared
Good times and bad times, we all were there.
From her potty training-to-her wedding day
Fights in the yard, while all the kids played
Cheryl was the leader, teacher and boss
She was bound to be the one that never lost!
Raised in our yard, Jodi and Jesse to chase...
You'd have thought she was the one that ran the place!
Stevie would watch, listen and learn
His sister was bigger, strong and assured....
"I will protect you, don't worry!" she'd say!
"Now this is the game that we're gonna play!"
Life would move on and it wouldn't be long
Cheryl was married then had Aaron, her son.
He would now be the apple of his mommy's eye
Filling her heart with pride...you can't deny.
No time to give her one last call
Who thought on her Birthday would be the end of it all...
We knew her and Loved her and watched her grow
But now it's sooo hard to let her Go!
May Angels be by your side Forever
We Love You Cheryl
