

Born on September 20, 1929 in Mineral Springs, he was the son of the late Clyde and Venna (Peters) Peters.
He worked for Glenn Geary and Harbison Walker.
Mr. Peters was methodist by faith and a member of the Clearfield VFW, American Legion and the AmVets.
He is survived by his wife, Dotty (Moore) Peters whom he married on October 27, 1951, four children: Cortez L. Peters and his wife Cathy of Philipsburg, Stanley F. Peters of Clearfield, Trudy K. Henschel and her husband Ervin of Bigler, and Roger J. Peters and his wife Shari of Woodland; nine grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren. He was last surviving member of his immediate family.
Mr. Peters was preceded in death by his parents, two grandchildren: Brianna Cowder and Paul Peters; four sisters: Adeline Peters, Beatrice Liddick, Leora Maines, and Eloise Marie Schickling; three brothers: Bernard, Cyrus, and Clyde Peters.
Funeral services will be held at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc. on Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at 3:00 PM with Pastor Sam Maines officiating. Interment will be in Bradford Cemetery. Military honors will be accorded at the cemetery by the Clearfield Honor Guard.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11:00 AM until the hour of services.
