Dawn Powell

She was born July 6, 1963 in Merced, California, the daughter of David A. and Dorothy K. (Sheffield) Bailey.

Dawn was a graduate of Clearfield Area High School.

She had worked at the Clearfield YMCA as a lifeguard and water exercising instructor and at Mt. Laurel Nursing and Rehabilitation Center as a nurses aide.

Dawn had a big heart and was a very caring person. She was also a member of the West Side Church of Christ.

Dawn is survived by her husband, Christopher L. Powell whom she married June 6, 1986, her daughter, Nicole L. Powell and her fiancé Edward A. Huber of Erie, three grandchildren; Eva Dawn McBride, Willow K. Huber and Edward Christopher Anton Huber Jr. III and a brother, Denny Bailey of Washington, PA.

She was preceded in death by her parents and infant brother, David Walter Bailey.

Honoring Dawn’s wishes there will be no public visitation or services.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 108R North Second Street, Suite 1 B, Clearfield, PA 16830.
