He was born February 27, 1963, in Clearfield, the son of Walter and Floda L. (Fink) Shirey.
Mr. Shirey was employed by the Clearfield Area School District for 23 years as a custodian in the maintenance department.
He was Methodist by faith.
He was a member of the Aerie #812 Fraternal Order of the Eagles.
He is survived by two sons; Aaron A. Shirey and his fiancée, Kimberly Groff, of Cortland, NY and Dustin S. Shirey and his fiancée, Trisha Hoover, of Clearfield, PA and a daughter, Jade I. Shirey, of Punxsutawney, PA and a brother, Scott M. Shirey and his wife Jenifer, of Virginia Beach, VA.
He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant daughter, Jenica Ann.
Friends will be received for a Celebration of Life held on Saturday, May 26, 2012 at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc. from 4-6 PM.
